“What do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult for each other?” (George Elliot, pen name for English novelist Mary Ann Evans)
Joyful Victory is a Bible-based, online inspirational Christian publication in Las Vegas, NV; USA.
I write about many topics from a Christian viewpoint. I mostly write about inspirational/motivational topics in order to motivate, uplift and empower others. I also enjoy apologetics research and investigative journalism. I have a God-given passion for truth and seek to use this passion to edify and bless others (1 Cor. 14:12). I do not write for money, nor do I get paid for any ads on here. I just write hoping that it will bless my fellow human! This page really is not about me, but Christ through me!
I became a devoted Christian in 2005 when God, by His grace and mercy, got my attention and changed me. I have been freelance writing since 2009. Writing has been a calling and passion God has given to me. As with all publications that claim to be “Christian”, I invite you to check out anything I write and make sure it is true and accurate, consistent with the Bible’s teachings (Acts 17:11). There are many phony and dangerous preachers out there today, just as the Bible predicted (2 Timothy 3:13)! I believe that all Christians are given a special gift to serve others. What about you – are you using yours?
In God’s strength, I completed my Bachelor of Science degree (B.A.) from UNLV in 2003 and a small portion of master’s degree work in theology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary, but I had to discontinue that. In 2017, I obtained an Advanced Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors). Of particular fascination when I was learning from JTS was a class on the manifestation and use of spiritual gifts among believers (1 Cor. 12; Ephesians 4; Romans 12). This is such a commonly misunderstood yet important topic worth studying.
A little more about me: I am a wife, mom of three wonderful kiddos, gourmet gluten free cookie maker and a barre (ballet) addict.
Detailed prior writing experience:
I do not, and will never, take credit for any of my successes or fruitful work. Like Gideon, I am simply a weak individual used by a strong God. It is God who gets glory for all things good in my life. It is He who has taught me so much because of His mercy and grace. I am a journalist for Christian apologetics and other related topics for multiple online publications, journals and ministries including the The Christian Post blog section; Previously wrote for The Examiner (an American news company based in Denver, Colorado which was later acquired by AXS in 2016); Wrote hundreds of apologetics articles (again, under a pen name; some have been featured or mentioned in other Biblical discernment ministries including “Berean Research”, “Sozo Research”, Kim Olsen’s publication “Discernit”, “M’Kayla’s Korner”, “Jesus Culture Awakening”, “Apostasy Watch”, “Christian Apologetics Research of Nevada”, “Watchman4Wales”, a ministry in Wales, etc.); Published a free, short book and e-book in 2012 which is currently being revised/edited; Created and authored two websites where, in an effort to help people (and their friends and families) out of abusive, deceptive cults or cultic sects, I presented factual (truthful) research, identified and exposed a few dangerous, abusive and/or cultic, hyper-authoritarian and self-aggrandizing groups and their legalistic manipulation/mind control tactics; one of these websites has had nearly 135,000 visits (thank you, Jesus) and has received comments from struggling people around the world with family members or close friends involved in a certain international cultic group which is growing like crazy. My goal is to help people out of dangerous and controlling groups, and to help their loved ones, with my writing and to make life just a little bit easier for them. All my work is done in the strength and name of Christ and I thank Him; Glory to Him! I usually do not disclose which cultic groups I try to help people come out of; that is private, and that is why most of my writings have not been written under my real name. If you are my friend, I will gladly share this information with you.
I was an unpaid member and distributor for a company called Pocket Power in Pennsylvania from 2011 to 2014. I worked closely with the graphic arts team to design a custom Gospel booklet (image and wordage) for evangelism purposes; Sent to various ministries in Las Vegas, Henderson (NV) and Kenya. Let me know if you would like to get involved in this ministry for Kenya!
As I mentioned, I do not get paid to write nor do I collect any donations (though I have been asked to accept donations for my apologetics publication). I write simply to bless and help others; however, if you appreciate this ministry and would like to donate to a worthy and “legit” cause/publication, I suggest Spiritual Research Network (Pastor Chris Lawson) in California, Open Veil Ministry (Pastor Todd Davis) in Virginia, or Compassion International. Please check these websites out on Facebook or online.
The newest venture that my husband and I have just founded is The Partners Network. Please visit http://www.celebratepartners.org if you would like!
I am thankful and humbled that you are here visiting my website! Please click on “Home” on the top of this page to view the rest of my site. Anything that is praiseworthy on here or blesses you is from God’s good hand.

From Judges 6:12-16 NIV
Gideon had a low opinion of himself and his clan. His assumption was that if someone was to save Israel out of Midian’s hand, then it must be someone of greater status than him and from a stronger clan than his. It never occurred to him that God may have selected him for the task precisely because of his low status and weak clan.
God, however, seems to specialize in selecting what is low and of no account for the accomplishment of His purposes. He selected the Israelites as His chosen people not because they were numerous, but because they were few (Deuteronomy 7:7). He chose David to be King of Israel even though he was the youngest son in his family (I Samuel 16:1-13). The Apostles Peter and John were “unschooled, ordinary men” (Acts 4:13). Many more examples could be added to the list.
The reason why God so often chooses what is low and of no account is so that the chosen will be more reliant on Him and through that reliance His glory will be magnified. God often chooses the foolish, weak, lowly, the despised, and the things that are not so that no one may boast before Him (I Corinthians 1:26-29). If God were to exclusively choose those who are high and mighty, then they might be tempted to boast of their own abilities and take credit for any successes.
If you are confronted today with a calling that seems beyond your status and abilities, then consider Gideon. It is God who makes us able, not we ourselves. Indeed, God declared Gideon to be a “mighty warrior” before he ever accomplished anything.
